Why choose a preschool with the Montessori method

The world is full of beautiful things waiting for our senses to sharpen in order to discover them…

The harsh truth of our time is that the stimuli we receive and the conditions we live in are not conducive to such things. Our five senses are constantly bombarded by foreign sounds, artificial smells, digital colors and images, fake tastes, and synthetic surfaces. The pace is always fast, and the demands are many. I have to do everything, do it now, and do it all at once! Time is always insufficient, and the mind is constantly occupied! Everything becomes superficial, without care, without imagination, and without creativity.

Peace, both internal and external, is under attack from everywhere. Terrorism and fear. Speed and convenience. This world needs change, and change will come through education…

The Montessori philosophy and education focus on a different world, one with balance and responsibility. It cultivates in children all the qualities that nature gives them, providing tools that will follow them into adulthood and help them live happily in the world they will create.

Introduction to the world of senses. We insist on the education of the senses so that the child can distinguish them, focus on them, understand them, and enjoy them. Discovering and deeply understanding them brings the individual closer to self-understanding and, ultimately, to balance.

Concentration and critical thinking. Contrary to the philosophy of multitasking, speed, and half-measures, we focus on an education that gives children time to delve into concepts, explore, and work at their own pace. When a person learns from an early age to immerse themselves in something that interests them, they cultivate creativity, concentration, and critical thinking.

Perseverance and patience. Mistakes and repetition become our teachers and helpers, not reasons for shame or punishment. Perseverance and patience are conquered through personal initiative and love from the child itself, resulting in them being followed throughout life.

Creativity and performance. By following each child's own pace in activities that interest and please them, they become more creative and inventive, ultimately maximizing their performance.

Communication and cooperation. Mixed-age classrooms, freedom within limits, and the safe bonds we cultivate with children lay the foundation for an education that enhances proper communication and fosters cooperation. Essential tools for later adult life.

Adaptability and flexibility. The mixing of children aged two and a half to six years places children in situations where they coexist with different personalities, ages, and abilities, just as happens outside of school. Thus, they learn to adapt and manage situations and emotions harmoniously and naturally.

Interculturality. We learn about other cultures, accept differences, and prepare global citizens.
